We carefully check the information against official sources, but it may contain errors or change after publication: before submitting a bid, always check the official tender documents. Oportunasia is an independent website and is not affiliated with the World Bank, the ADB, the AIIB or any other institution.

What data we process and why

Only what you send us when you write to us by email or through the chat: name, company, email and whatever you tell us in your message. We use it to reply to you, send you the sample bulletin or the quote you ask for and, if you become a client, to provide the service.

Legal basis

Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (replying to you, sending the sample or the quote) and, if you sign up, the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Invoices are kept to comply with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Technical visit data (IP address) received by the host, the photo provider and the chat provider is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in displaying the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

How long

Messages, up to 2 years from the last contact if you do not become a client. Client data, for the duration of the relationship and then for the legal periods (6 years for accounting records and invoices).

Providers

Cloudflare, Inc. (website hosting and email forwarding, USA), Google LLC (mailbox, USA), Unsplash Inc. (website photos: when they load, it receives the visitor’s IP address) as well as tawk.to Inc. and its artificial intelligence provider (website chat with an AI assistant, USA: they receive what you write in the chat, your IP address and technical browser data). Transfers to Cloudflare and Google are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses, and transfers to tawk.to on standard contractual clauses. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

Cookies

This website does not set its own cookies or use any analytics or advertising tools. The tawk.to chat does not load until you click its button: when you open it, tawk.to sets its own cookies to keep the conversation going (see its cookie policy at docs.tawk.help). If you do not open the chat, no cookies are set.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to hola@oportunasia.com. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es). We do not make automated decisions with your data.
